Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market

T: State Street

Faneuil Hall is often called the “Cradle of Liberty” in honor of the pro-Freedom speeches that were made inside its walls. The grasshopper weathervane is only part remaining from the original construction in 1742.

Quincy Market used to be an open-air market, standing directly on the water with boats coming right up to the building.

Now over 125 shops and restaurants line the Quincy Market street.
